J.P. Nerbun is a bestselling author, coach, and founder of TOC Culture Consulting, a leading global sports-consulting and leadership coaching business. In 2022, he published The Culture System, a ground-breaking book offering a framework for developing team culture. In 2023, he launched The Culture System Online Training Platform, which has been praised for being one of the most applicable online coach educations available.

Most recently, he published The Sports Parent Solution, providing proven strategies for transforming parents from obstacles to allies. His podcast, Coaching Culture, is one of the top sports leadership podcasts globally. Nerbun lives in Ireland with his wife and their three children.


Eleanor Harvey 3x Olympian & Paris 2024 Olympic Bronze Medalist, Fencing

Eleanor Harvey made history at Paris 2024, capturing Canada’s first-ever Olympic fencing medal with a bronze in the women’s team foil, a milestone achievement for the sport in Canada.

Harvey is a three-time Olympian making her Olympic debut at Rio 2016, defeating the world’s No.1 fencer and previously securing Canada’s best-ever Olympic fencing result with a seventh-place finish. Harvey is an 8-time World Cup and Grand Prix medalist and currently ranks #4 in the world.

Beyond her international success, Harvey was a 2016 NCAA Champion while competing for Ohio State University, where she earned degrees in Film Studies and Psychology. Off the piste, she is passionate about art, yoga, and coffee culture and runs her own sustainable clothing brand, Lennygarb, which features original designs on upcycled clothing.

Alice Lu Canadian Fencing Coach

Alice Lu is a highly accomplished Foil Coach with over 20 years of professional experience in high-performance coaching, working with many top Canadian National Team fencers, including Eleanor Harvey.

Alice has served as the coach for the Canadian women’s foil team from 2016-2023. Her coaching experience includes stints at Pan American Championships, World Championships, World University Games, Canada Games and Ontario Summer Games. Since 2007, Alice has been the Head Coach of the Ryerson University Varsity Fencing Team, where she has led the team to multiple successes. Her exceptional leadership has earned her the title of OUA Coach of the Year three times.
